After work
After-work drinks in Vesterbro, five minutes from Central Station

- Opens 15.30, Wednesday to Saturday
- Five minutes on foot from Central Station
- No booking needed under ten people
- Glasses from 70 DKK
Friday after work
From 15.30 until around six there is space, daylight coming in and enough quiet to hear each other. It is the best time to come if there are a handful of you from the office and you want to talk without raising your voice.
From seven the room fills, and on Friday and Saturday it is usually full from eight. It is still good, it is just a different kind of evening .. closer, louder and more accidental.
Without booking
If there are fewer than ten of you, do not write to us. Just come. There is nearly always space for a couple of people at the counter, even late on a Friday, and we do not hold tables for anyone.
If you want to be sure of sitting together, come before six. That is the whole trick, and it costs nothing.
If there are more of you
From ten upwards it is better to tell us. Then we set aside one end of the room for you and you are not left looking for somewhere to put the glasses down. It does not cost extra .. it is simply easier for everyone.
If there should be food too, we put out tapas boards so they are ready when you arrive. That works well for a Friday session meant to last a couple of hours rather than one.
What to drink
Around fifty wines from a dozen countries, a third of them by the glass .. so you can taste your way through without committing to a bottle. Glasses from 70 kroner.
If someone is driving home or taking a break, there is organic beer and soda from Herslev Bryghus, kombucha, vermouth and an alcohol-free option on the wine list. Nobody looks twice.
Ask early
The popular dates go first, especially Fridays, Saturdays and the whole of December. If you are after a particular day, ask early .. and ask anyway, even if it is in a fortnight. Sometimes there is simply room.
How to book
Write how many you are, when, and ideally what you were thinking of spending. We come back with a concrete suggestion and a price you can accept or decline. We usually reply the same day, and nobody will ring you back to sell you anything.
