This is the place
We opened in 2022 and work behind the bar ourselves. The front onto Istedgade stands open when the weather allows, and there is no dress code and no need to book.
The list runs to around 60 bottles and changes as we go. Mostly European, a good share organic and low-intervention, and always something open by the glass so you can taste before you choose.
Drink the bottle here or take it home with you. Bottles to go are 40% off the bar price.
The wine
The list changes all the time. A mix of classic European styles and funkier low-intervention bottles – basically whatever we think tastes good right now.
The food
Simple, high-quality plates that go well with wine. Our bread comes fresh from our neighbours at Bageriet BRØD, and the cheese and charcuterie come from Gastronomer, who import directly from France and Italy.
Things happen here
Good wine sounds better with good music. We host intimate concerts, wine tastings and informal wine school – and the walls change as we go with work from houses, artists and partners. We also run our own blues week, Vester Blues.
The whole bar to yourselves
A birthday, a small wedding, a company evening or a tasting for your friends. We are happy to hand over the bar.
