Vesterhus & Viniversa Presents: Wine School – Introduction to Grape Varieties
Thursday 13th of November @ 19:30
Grape varieties play a major role in determining a wine’s flavor—and even its color. Just like a Granny Smith apple tastes different from an Ingrid Marie, wines made from different grapes have distinct profiles. A skilled taster can often identify the grape variety just by smelling the wine.
We’ll taste some of the most well-known grape varieties—Riesling, Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon—and dive into what makes each one unique.
Your tasting experience will be paired with a light bite-sized selection of exceptional cheeses and gourmet delicacies from Gastronomer.

Jazz & Blues Night: Jazz’n Tales

Anne Marie is touring and performing with her jazz trio Jazz’n Tales with a brand new Bossa Nova show. She is also performing solo with her “Dinner & Dance” lounge concept including jazz standards, evergreens, soul, funk, rock, country, Motown and disco hits by well known artists and crooners.
Vesterhus & Viniversa Presents: Introduction to Famous Wine Regions
Thursday 11th of December @ 19:30
Wine is deeply connected to the place it’s grown. Many wine regions have become so iconic that their names are nearly synonymous with a particular style—like how people often refer to all sparkling wine as “Champagne,” even though only wines from that region can legally bear the name.
We’ll taste wines from some of the world’s most renowned wine regions: Champagne, Mosel, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhône, and Piedmont.
Your tasting experience will be paired with a light bite-sized selection of exceptional cheeses and gourmet delicacies from Gastronomer.
